One of the most unique items you will ever come across! In 1956 a tragic event struck the nation of Italy when its beloved S.S. Andrea Doria crashed into another passenger liner - the Stockholm - and sunk to the bottom of the ocean just outside of New York. Due to a lack of technology no one was able to dive to the shipwreck until the 1980's when Peter Gimble assembled a team to do just that. During his dives he was able to recover a decent amount of salvageable series 1935 Bank Notes. We've assembled a fantastic set including one of these original Series 1935E $1 Silver Certificates preserved in a sealed block by PCGS and certified "B" grade and signed by Peter Gimble and his wife Elga Anderson. We'll send you this with all of its informational packaging as well as a DVD about the S.S. Andrea Doria. Once they're gone they're gone forever so get this fantastic piece of history today!
