Quick Overview

While the United States was involved in WWII between 1942 and 1945 it was decided that the nickel being used in our five cent coin could be better used in shell casings for the war. So instead of nickel they used silver during that time. This is a unique collection of all 11 coins from the P, D & S mints between 1942 and 1945 that were made with silver that were all preserved in brilliant uncirculated condition.
